Sweet Slant

I used worsted weight yarn, but you can use any weight and just adjust the pattern according to your yarn you chose.

I used Paton’s Classic Wool in Aran that I dyed with Kool Aide.

Needles:
US 7 - 4.5 mm
US 9 - 5.5 mm

Co: 70 stitches with US 7s

Do 1x1 ribbing for 10 rounds.

Switch to US 9s and increase K6, K2, KFB, K2 – 90 sts

Start eyelet pattern:

Yo, k2tog 10 times (over 20 sts), knit 20, yo k2tog 10 times (over 20 sts) knit 20
Knit next round
K1, yo& K2tog 10 times, k1, knit 20, k1, yo & k2tog, k1, knit 20
Knit next round

You can continue in this manner as long as you’d like. I stopped after 11 eyelet rows and did ½ inch of stockinette. You can start decreases right after the eyelet pattern if you do a few more repeats.

Start decreases.

Continue in this manner until 8 stitches remain, pull through and close off.

If you find any errors, let me know ASAP! Or even if you have suggestions to improve this design.

If you enjoy this pattern, feel free to share with friends, and sell what you make, but please don’t claim as your own.
